It is from an understanding that the Skill Education especially in the technology areas will not be complete without providing ample exposure to the current industrial scenario in live production environment.

Realizing the above fact, IIB Education has given utmost weightage to the Industrial Internship especially in the advanced technology areas like Computerized Instrumentation and Industrial Automation and a number of advanced IT courses. etc. the industrial internship is an absolute necessity for the students of different technology or service to get an understanding about how their technology is being applied in their respective production front and its latest trends in connection with the current production environment this gives them added advantage while entering in to job in their respective field of operation.

In order to provide extensive industrial internship for the students, IIB Education has been made bilateral agreements with technology majors in both the public sector and private sector companies. Eg: Agreements made with KELTRON – A state government owned Electrical & Electronics technology major, Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers (RCF) Mumbai, - A Union government owned Public sector undertaking which is one of the Asia’s largest Fertilizer Plant, Cochin Port Trust etc. are a few to name.

Being aware of the fact that the students who are going for the Industrial Internship may get exposed to extremely hazardous environment, we have become increasingly aware of the safety precautions and the importance of making the students aware of its gravity. As we do care on the safety and well-being of the precious life of our students, we do impart Intensive awareness classes to the students as well as their parents.

The safety precaution guidelines provided by the respective industries are well described to the students much before they go for the same. Strict and mandatory safety precautions in every respect is explained in detail. The need of observing strict discipline during the internship programme is also asserted in the session and its legal consequences in the event of any breach of terms and conditions including non-adherence to the statutory compliances are well explained with respect to the successful conduct of the Internship Programme.
