Every year IIB conducts IIB Internship Program for the students of Engineering/ Arts & Science/ Polytechnic colleges, etc. who aspire to build a better career in the industrial world. IIB Internship Program is a preparatory skill development program which mainly aims to mould each candidate in both subject level and managerial / administration level job roles. The comprehensive program equips each candidate to get thorough the essential knowledge in the formal subjects and build managerial qualities in order to compete with the challenges in the industrial world and to build up competency levels.
The duration of this program stretches usually from 8 months to 1year depending on the skill levels of the applied candidate, their aptitude, the skill level they intend to achieve, & skill sectors opted by the candidates.

The 6 Phases of IIB Internship Program |

Phase 1: | The candidates who want to achieve skills & knowledge in various potential skill sectors as a part of the IIB Internship Program, gets unique opportunity to prepare and qualify themselves for any corporates or IIB in general. Phase 2: | IIB officials will select deserving candidates after scrutinizing the candidates in person & their credentials along with other selection parameters established under IIB HR Policies. |
Phase 3: | The selected candidates will be notified through an official email and, further directed for a walk-in interview with the IIB HR. |
Phase 4: | Once the candidates are selected, they will be intimated the same through the email and will be issued an appointment letter after the successful completion of their recruitment procedure. |

Stage 1: IIB Associate-level Internship Program (5 Months) | |
All the candidates must attend and complete IIB Associate-level training program in which they will get detailed training in subject level. i.e. an industry relevant training program according to the formal education skill sector they have completed. Once they complete their associate level program, they will be assessed and can secure an associate level certificate. |

After completing their Associate-level IIB Internship Program, they will be able to perform various tasks related to their skill sector. |

Stage 2: IIB Professional-level Internship Program (4 months) | |
Once a candidate successfully complete Associate-level IIB Internship Program, they will be directed to IIB Professional-level Internship Program. In this stage, the candidates will undergo a more advanced subject level training and handle various industry specific real time projects. This will make them quite an expert in their industrial subjects and help equip them to work in the related industries. |

More over after the successful completion of this stage they will be entitled to get an NSDC Certificate and Keltron Industrial Internship Certificate in their respective skill sectors. |

Stage 3: IIB Master-level Internship Program (3 months) | |
Once the candidates successfully complete the Professional-level IIB Internship Program they will be qualified to attend a Master-level IIB Internship Program. In this stage, candidates are permitted to work under IIB Project Managers as Assistant Project Managers and participate directly in IIB projects. In this stage, each candidates undergo a detailed grooming session for managerial quality enhancement which includes various subjects project planning, coordinating, monitoring, project auditing, budgeting, creating evaluation reports, designing project action plans, administrative delegation chart preparation, organizational behavior sessions etc. |

Phase 6: | Candidates who successfully complete the Master-level IIB Internship Program will be absorbed by various projects/ departments of IIB or IIB associated companies. |
